Alluka skips her way up the stairs to the second floor of Satori Hills, jump skips her way down the hallway, and stops in from of 208. The numbers look nice and round and pretty. Humming, she knocks on the door before stepping back and holding both her hands behind her back. It doesn't matter because it's Gojo, but it's the thought that counts.

The thought counts. She waits for the door to open.

The knock has him blinking before he shifts to his feet from the couch where he'd been drinking tea while looking over the network the other residents used, trying to learn what he could about the others present. He leaves it on the couch, crossing to the door and opening it, gaze focusing on the figure standing there.

"Can I help you?"

Alluka looks up at the guy who looks around Big Brother Milluki's age and slides her eyes back over to the door and the number on the door. That definitely says 208. She is in the right place. Her eyes slide past him to catch a slice of the apartment inside, and it looks... different.

"Who are you and what have you done with Gojo?" Alluka demands. She sets her fists on her hips, the look not terribly menacing from a thirteen year old girl in the first place, and a lollipop sticks out of each fist.

"If you've hurt him, I will..." Alluka isn't sure what she can do to someone who could hurt Gojo, "be very disappointed in you and possibly cry. And I won't give you a hug."

"He actually went out for a while. I didn't do anything to Satoru, but if you'd like to come in and wait, I could make you some tea." Suguru is not at all hiding a smile at the expression on the girl's face and trying to look properly chastened at the thread.

"My name is Geto Suguru. I'm staying with him for the time being."

Alluka blinks but breathes a sigh of relief. She's very glad nothing has happened to Gojo, nothing bad. Going out is a totally normal thing. It's even what she's done here and now! "You call him Satoru," she whispers. "Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh."

She has ideas™ now.

"I would very much like to come in," Alluka declares. "You can have his lollipop if you want. I can always buy him another one."

[Gojo says that he's only going out to pick them up some breakfast and coffee, as he's in the mood for one particular epiphany bakery. He's gone a little longer than he probably should have been, but who knows. This is Gojo. He probably saw 5 people along the way he wanted to yammer at. Maybe he saw a cat. Maybe a clothing store nearby was having a sale.

Instead, when he shows back up through the door, he looks confused. Thoughtful. Concerned. There's a lot going on in that expression as he sets their food and drinks down in the kitchen.]

Hey. Sorry, you might wanna warm these up.

They'll hold.

What happened? [Because that expression says something did and it's not necessarily a good thing.]

[Instead of drinking his coffee, Gojo fiddles mindlessly with the cup lid.]

... I ran into Haibara at the coffee shop. He said he got here yesterday.

Does Nanami know? [Because that's the first thing although the idea of that has him sitting back down, expression turning thoughtful. ]

Yeah. He said he's staying with him. Glad they ran into each other already. [That would be weird news to have to break to Nanami.]

He's a Familiar. He's got-- [Gojo mines floppy dog ears with both hands on the sides of his head.] -- these little ears. He seems... good. Different. [For all of the three minutes he could talk to him. He can't quite put a finger on what it was, though.]

[It's late one night, a night where Gojo has been gone for most of the entire day. after his talk with Gideon he needed time to form his thoughts into coherent words, a seemingly impossible task for him. But he has to. He knows he has to. Maybe this will all be over, maybe it won't; but if he doesn't talk, he knows it definitely will be.

One moment Geto was asleep, the next Gojo is slipping into bed with him quietly, something Gojo knows will wake him. Just lying on top of the covers, arm wrapping over Geto's waist as he lays on his side, to Geto's back. Hoping he stays still, since Gojo wasn't sure he could take Geto's eyes on him right now, and definitely couldn't in the light of day. His voice is quiet. He wants to talk, but maybe Geto will tell him to be quiet and go to sleep. He wouldn't blame him.]

Re: sometime after the movie but before Thoth event!

He's been quiet, hasn't sought company outside of the bedroom, hasn't touched Gojo since the movie because it hadn't felt right. Nothing really had aside from when he'd talked to Nanami and he'd been working on ideas of how to fill his time.

Had even taken a few days to visit Tides and everything had felt different there. But he'd left word for Satoru. When Gojo slides into bed, he opens his eyes, not that he'd been sleeping, not really.

"Satoru." It's acknowledgment, but he's still, waiting for whatever Satoru decides he needs to hear.

He's relieved to even hear his name, and he's quiet, before letting out a deep breath, gathering himself together. Gojo has been reciting these many words in his head over and over, but finds it difficult to voice when the time finally comes.

"Suguru, I'm... I'm sorry. I'm sorry that I thought my own path was more important than yours, I'm sorry that I convinced myself into thinking you'd make your way through and be okay on your own--"

Deluding himself further, catering to his own ego by finding a way to keep doing everything by himself. It doesn't matter that all that hasn't happened to this Geto yet; he owes these words to him all the same.

"Because I'm seeing the same thing happening here all over again, this drifting apart, and-- and me being the reason you're miserable."

He presses his forehead to the back of his neck, the hand on Geto's side tightening slightly, shaking.

"And I keep wondering if maybe the best thing for me to do is to let you go. Before you sink all over again because of me. Because being without you is painful, but that you're hurting more because of me is so much worse."

With how he's lying here now, clutching on to Geto, shows how he really feels about actually letting go. When he speaks again, his voice is strained.

"We see what happens, and I-- can't bare the idea of you wasting your time in this place being unhappy. Whatever that means for me in that, just don't-- please don't waste your chance to be happy here."

"It means you're an idiot, Satoru." He does turn over, gaze focusing on Gojo's face, his expression serious before he sighs and shakes his head.

"That doesn't mean I didn't mean the things I said and you needed to hear them. But I needed to realize things for myself as well. I haven't fallen that far, and I'm not going to, but it's not all on your shoulders either. We're not at home, I'm not going on missions and I've been trying to work through all the shit surrounding what happened with Amanai.

When I need to talk, I go to Nanami. I have other options here that weren't available at home for a lot of reasons." He pauses, rubs a hand over his face.

He doesn't move, Gojo's expression sad, almost hopeless. He can't get the end of that movie out of his head and how Inumaki confirmed it for him. It gets worse after that, he said.

He doesn't want it to get worse here.

"I want you to be able to talk to me."

There will always be things Geto needs to go to others for, but he wants to be there as much as he can.

"Because it feels like you're holding out on me and--"

It goes back to everything he just said. The fear that Geto will keep drifting away from him.

"I want to be the one here for you."

[The door is knocked on, there's what sounds like few moments of a heated exchange - at least on Gojo's part, as the other voice is calm and therefore unheard. If Geto goes to investigate, he'll be treated to Gojo slamming the door shut, fuming and grumbling.]

[He's drying his hands as he comes to the door, eyeing Satoru for a moment. ]

Not really, but Nanami does. Did she do something?

[Punched him in the gut, hard. He absently rubs his abdomen.]

Says she wants to meet me at Agrona for "lessons". The nerve of some people! Wasn't I supposed to be the teacher or something?

You will be in the future.

Doesn't mean she might not be able to offer you more hand to hand or weapons practice. Maybe something happened to make her think you need more training?

[A derisive snort.] Yeah, we'll see who's gonna school who here.

[Did something happen? He didn't know Maki, but she sure did have a lot of scars all over. Anything could have caused that, though. That's sorcerer life.

It seems like he's thinking it over for just a moment, but then waves it off.]

So what, does training here equate to anything if we're suddenly sent home? I thought we didn't remember being here if we suddenly disappear and come back.

[ Angel hadn't come back last night and now that the morning was approaching, they were yet to make an appearance. It is not like them to miss breakfast, even if they usually just get up, eat and go back to bed most of the time.

So, Geto might be curious to see the Devil calling them up over the Relic sometime in the afternoon. ]

Oh yeah, I used the train station to get here ... Just kept walking though, now its slippy and icy and I'm cold and don't wanna move.
