Not today is fine. Perhaps Geto is waiting for Gojo to come home. Perhaps he wants a nap. Whatever it is, it's fine. She's happy like this. "Okay!"
That's when wings grow out of her back, wings that look similar to the dragon above but much smaller and mostly black like her hair (her dog ears disappear and normal human ones take their place). Alluka keeps running around the roof, only her feet are a few inches in the air.
"What?" Alluka asks and looks over at Geto. Then she looks at the ground, squees in delight, and runs without it changing her pace flying. "I've never flown before in my life! I'm usually a dog here!"
"I'm a Familiar!" Alluka shares. "I turn into animals. Or sometimes I get things like this. And my ears. It's not on purpose."
Sometimes she can turn into a dog on purpose. Sometimes it's on accident. She still flaps her arms like they are wings and slowly makes her way over toward Geto, where he's sitting. "Play with me?"
Alluka pauses and floats in the air before Geto as she thinks it over. They're in a large space with room to run (or fly) around. There's a dragon. It has so many options!
"Tag!" Alluka says. She wants him to have fun too.
Alluka looks around them, surprised by the idea they would need more space, but she shrugs and nods. "Okay, I look forward to that." because he said another day. There is another day.
"Most the games I know are meant for indoors. What games do you like?"
"Oh," Alluka considers. She slowly lands on her feet.
"We saw Big Brother's friend in the hospital because he was really really hurt, but he's better now. Then we saw him off to see his dad, and we were going on my first adventure. Unless going to the hospital counts as an adventure?" Alluka shares. It's all about her first trip off the mountain, a hopefully long long first trip.
"Have you played Sevens?" Alluka asks. She starts showing the hand motions between them.
Alluka sits on the edge of the building next to Geto and faces him. She holds up her hands pressed together with a serious expression on her face.
"We slap our hands together in a pattern. Then we have to imitate each other. Once you learn the basics, you can do anything. Follow me."
She starts slowly moving her hands. She really just wants him to be engaged, to let go of some of whatever's on his shoulders, at least for the moment. She's always been able to do that for Big Brother.
Alluka hums as they play, honestly enjoying the simple fact of having someone to play with. Someone new! Geto is really nice after all.
Still she leans across them in time, not sure how to word it. Because it's okay if he doesn't like her. She has Big Brother and Zechs and Sharon and Gojo. It's so many people. Alluka hopes he does, as much as she likes him, but she does have more love than she ever knows what to do with. "Would you rather I leave?"
She smiles, trying to assure him it's okay, whatever he says.
Alluka looks back up at the rainbow dragon and smiles. It's really cool, but she knows she can come back and see it another day. Come back and fly on its back.
He slides off the ledge, taking her hand as Rainbow dragon vanishes and then it's back inside to take her down to the second floor apartments and inside.
Alluka nods and squeezes Geto's hand. It sounds like he's having a rough time. Lucky for him, she's there. "It's okay to take things slow, and I'm happy to come play with you anytime," Alluka says.
She pulls out her spoon, and her face squishes together in concentration. A moment later there's a fairly large plush dragon that appears before them and starts to fall to the floor. It looks like rainbow dragon.

"What have you done here besides decorate this place and cook a ton of yummy yummy food?" Alluka asks.
